Refund and Cancellation Policy

Before Work Begins

If you purchase a service and cancel within 30 days of purchase, before project setup, document review, transcription, conversion, scheduling, or other work begins, email info@bluelogbooks.com. We can cancel the order and refund the payment, less any unrecoverable payment processor fees if those apply.

After 30 days, payments are non-refundable even if work has not begun, but the order remains active while you gather and upload your records.

After Work Begins

Once work has started, refunds are not automatic. Depending on how much work has been completed, we may offer a partial refund, apply credit toward a revised scope, or continue the project under the original order. Completed work, completed deliverables, and work already scheduled for expedited processing are generally not refundable.

Speed Options and Speed Upgrades

Fast Speed, Ludicrous Speed, and existing-order speed upgrades reserve accelerated processing capacity. If expedited work has already been scheduled or started, the speed portion of the order may not be refundable. Turnaround begins after we receive your complete upload and required worksheet/details, not at checkout.

Customer Delays or Incomplete Uploads

If records are missing, unreadable, incomplete, or delayed, the project timeline may pause until the needed materials are received. A missed customer deadline caused by incomplete upload materials, missing worksheet details, or delayed customer responses is not automatically eligible for a refund.

Inactive or Abandoned Orders

Customers are responsible for providing complete upload materials and required worksheet/details. If complete materials are not received within 6 months of purchase, and the customer does not respond to reasonable follow-up, the order may be considered inactive and administratively closed.

Once an order is administratively closed, the original production slot, turnaround selection, package terms, and package pricing are no longer reserved. The customer may request reactivation later, but reactivation is subject to current pricing, current availability, and any additional balance due.

Payments on administratively closed orders are not refundable after the refund window has passed. Any remaining customer credit will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Handwritten Overage

The first 1,000 handwritten lines are included in the Deluxe services. If your handwritten records exceed 1,000 lines, we confirm the additional scope with you first. Additional handwritten lines are billed later at $0.15 per line only after that review and confirmation step.

How to Request a Cancellation

Email info@bluelogbooks.com from the email address used for checkout. Include the buyer name, PayPal email if different, service purchased, and the reason for cancellation.
